Fourth Annual ClubCorp Charity Classic Raises $1.5 Million
Monies Raised Will Benefit the ClubCorp Employee Partners Care Foundation, MDA's Augie's Quest, and Dozens of Local Charities throughout the Country
DALLAS, Jan. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ClubCorp, The World Leader in Private Clubs, announces today that it raised $1.5 million for a variety of charities throughout the U.S. during the 2010 ClubCorp Charity Classic, the world's largest aggregate golf and dining event. More than 130 properties in ClubCorp's family of clubs participated with more than 13,000 individuals attending tournaments, dinners, and auctions at clubs throughout the country. During the event, each private club within the ClubCorp family of clubs opens its doors to the general public and communities to support many important causes.
Since its inception in 2007, ClubCorp's Charity Classic has raised nearly $6.5 million benefitting charities including MDA's Augie's Quest, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the ClubCorp Employee Partners Care Foundation.
