Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital and Engage Complete MEDITECH Expanse EHR Implementation

GLASGOW, Mont., April 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital (FMDH) in Glasgow, Montana has completed their implementation of the MEDITECH Expanse Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Going LIVE with Expanse extends their EHR partnership with MEDITECH, which has been in place since 1996.

The choice of Expanse allowed the hospital to remain independent since other EHR vendors required FMDH to partner with or utilize the software from a larger host health system.  "This new web-based EHR platform will allow us to provide better coordination of care through our hospital departments and outpatient clinics," said FMDH CEO Randall Holom.  "Expanse provides us tools to better engage our patients and community for better health care."

In December 2018, FMDH reached out to Engage for consulting services to help them successfully complete the project and meet their goal of being live by April 2019.  Engage was brought on board to provide project management, acute & ambulatory clinical leads, acute & ambulatory revenue cycle leads, acute & ambulatory physician trainers, and end-user training.
