From the appearance, the Sony A845 is not as stunning as people may have imagined, in terms of packaging and overall appearance, but this is a continuation of Sony's usual design. The body is pure black, while the operating area is bright silver, which is very prominent. Appearance and Operation
The A845 is really thin. At present, with the exception of the Nano, this is the thinnest player on the market, but as an MP4 player too, there is no other like it. The size of the player is 7.2mm, the length is 104.9mm, width is 46.8mm, and weight is about 62g.

Frbiz comments that the design has two drawbacks: first, the keys are more rigid and stiff, so pressing the keys needs more effort, but the advantage in this is it's more difficult to press keys by mistake; and second, the keys are not raised and have no indicators, meaning that if has no indicators, the OLED itself is not enough to illuminate the operating area, so that if operating in the dark, it becomes inconvenient.
