DocuSign Helps French Government Make Digital Transformation to Simplify Access to Public Services Across Agencies

PARIS, March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As part of its 2020 Digital France initiative (2020 France numérique Plan), the French government has chosen DocuSign, Inc. (DocuSign®) for eSignature and Digital Transaction Management (DTM) to support its move to 100% digital processes. The adoption of new 100% digital measures by the French Government will help simplify access to public services across several administrations.

With DocuSign, the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry will benefit from:

Enhanced Trust – DocuSign delivers a range of RGS certificates compliant with French and European regulations. The use of these certificates for digital signature of documents, strong user authentication, and for transaction timestamping provides optimal security to electronic exchanges.
Simplified and Accelerated Processing Times – DocuSign will accelerate transactions with a faster and easier way to conduct exchanges with and between the public administrations.
Savings – Moving to 100% digital processes, costs associated with paper processes like printing, faxing, scanning and overnighting documents, as well as manual rekeying of data supplied in paper documents, will be significantly reduced.
