Frigidaire Gallery® Launches Industry's First Top Freezer Refrigeration Innovation In Decades
First refrigerator with customizable door on the market
LAS VEGAS, Jan. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), Frigidaire Gallery® introduced a cutting edge innovation in top freezer refrigeration. Often considered a traditional design, the new top freezer refrigerator addresses a long-standing consumer need to provide better organization in this product: the refrigerator's full door is customizable with bins and shelving that can move, slide or be added.
Top freezer refrigerators, which represent 50 percent of the refrigeration market, have seen little innovation in decades. Given this, Frigidaire Gallery conducted extensive consumer research in this category. The findings led the brand to create a full Custom-Flex™ Door, redefine the layout of the interior, create a new Store-More™ Drawer for accessible storage space, and improve the interior lighting.
