From Store to Street: Insta360 and Leica Bring Creators Together for an Exclusive Luna Series Experience in New York

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Insta360 hosted a creator event at its new flagship store in Times Square on September 10th, bringing together photographers, videographers and creators for an immersive introduction to Luna Pro. The half-day experience combined an in-store showcase with a guided photo walk through some of New York's most iconic locations, giving attendees hands-on experience with the product in real-world conditions.

The event brought together around 20 creators, including two Leica-affiliated photographers. Following an opening address and introduction to Luna Pro, creators joined a tutorial covering basic operations, shooting modes, color settings, and NFC app transfer before taking the product out onto the streets.

The afternoon's centerpiece was a themed color hunt, inviting participants to explore New York City through the lens of color. Divided into red, yellow and blue groups, each accompanied by a dedicated staff member, participants followed a curated route from 1515 Broadway through Times Square, Bryant Park and Rockefeller Center, putting Luna Pro to the test as they searched for vibrant colors, striking contrasts and distinctive visual moments across the city.

Bringing the Creator Community Together

The event also provided an opportunity for creators to connect, exchange perspectives, and explore different approaches to photography. Throughout the afternoon, participants shared their experiences and creative ideas while taking on the same color-hunting challenge from their own perspectives.

The event concluded with creators gathering back at the Times Square store to share some of their favorite shots from the day. The session highlighted the different ways participants interpreted the same city, creative challenge, and visual moments through their own lenses.
