FUEL, E&P Win at 2010 FOLIO: Awards

HOUSTON, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hart Energy's FUEL magazine and E&P magazine's web site coverage were recognized for editorial excellence at FOLIO: magazine's 2010 Eddie & Ozzie Awards Gala held January 25 in New York City.

FUEL took home three Eddie Awards:

1. Gold for Best Single Article, B-to-B, Energy/Utilities/Engineering for "Flying on Alternatives" by Louise Poirier from the June 2009 issue;
2. Silver for Best Single Article, B-to-B, Energy/Utilities/Engineering for "Pursuing Next Generation Biofuels" by Louise Poirier from the December 2009 issue. Poirier previously won the prestigious Gold Eddie Award in the same category in 2008 for a FUEL article on crude oil supply and demand; and
3. Bronze for Best Single Issue, B-to-B, Energy/Utilities/Engineering for the December 2009 issue.

In the category of Best Online News Coverage, E&P won Bronze for its in-depth coverage of the BP oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.

FOLIO: magazine's awards drew more than 2,000 entries, which more than 100 expert judges spent weeks evaluating.
