CLEVELAND, Feb. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Futuri Media (http://futurimedia.com/) the media industry leader in interactive technology has partnered with Case Western Reserve University to Co-Host the third annual HackCWRU (http://hack.cwru.edu/), a 36-hour hackathon bringing together the brightest and most creative students to promote unrestricted technological innovation. Hosted in Sears think[box], the University's center for innovation and entrepreneurship, HackCWRU is free and open to anyone currently enrolled in a high school, undergraduate, or graduate program.
Beginning with opening ceremonies this evening at 7pm and through the weekend, over 150 students will spend 36 hours working with peers, mentors, local innovators, and a suite of rapid prototyping technologies. This uncharacteristic open access to technology makes HackCWRU a great environment to foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
