Gaffney Bennett Public Relations Bolsters Team and Expands Capabilities

NEW BRITAIN, Conn., Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Gaffney Bennett Public Relations ("GBPR"), a strategic communications and corporate affairs firm, announced today the appointment of several industry professionals that bring both corporate and big agency experience to the firm. These individuals will further support and broaden the communications advisory services available to GBPR's clients.

Effective January 1, 2019, Ted Novin, founder and managing partner of Kincade Communications ("Kincade"), a North Carolina based strategic communications and executive advisory consultancy, has been named a senior advisor to the firm. In this role, Ted will serve as a key member of GBPR's team, leveraging his 20+ years of corporate, trade association and agency experience to advise clients on complex communications, public affairs and reputational matters. He will be based in North Carolina and New York City.

At Kincade, Ted works with private equity firms, law firms, and both public and private companies across more than 20 sectors, providing counsel and support for a host of issues, including executive transitions, M&A, litigation support, restructurings and consolidation, global product recalls and issues related to high-risk products. Prior to Kincade, Ted was a member of the executive leadership team at the Remington Outdoor Company, where he served as the chief spokesman and head of communications, public affairs and marketing.

GBPR has also added new team members to its Connecticut-based team in 2018, including Janette Baxter, a communications and marketing veteran of more than 20 years who joined the firm as an account director in July 2018 from Stanley Black & Decker.
