Gagen MacDonald Names Brad Messinger as Chief Marketing Officer

CHICAGO, June 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategy execution firm Gagen MacDonald today announced the appointment of Chicago business executive Brad Messinger as Chief Marketing Officer, reporting directly to the firm's president, Sherry Scott.

Messinger, former Senior Vice President of Marketing and Client Service at digital marketing agency Rise Interactive, brings a wealth of brand building, business development, and management experience with him. Prior to Rise, he was Director of Marketing at Sun-Times Media, overseeing all marketing activity for 41 brands in their media portfolio. Earlier in his career, he also worked for Alliance Creative Group and VWR International.

Brad holds an undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University and his MBA from Roosevelt University. He's served on the Board of Directors for the Chicago Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Marketing Leadership Council at Forrester Research. In 2016, Messinger's commitment to the craft landed him one of the industry's highest individual honors as a '4 Under 40 Emerging Leaders' award recipient from the American Marketing Association International.
