Galileo Processing Partners With EPS Financial and Drake Software to Streamline Tax Refund Payments for Consumers, Tax Preparers

SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Galileo Processing, Inc., the leading provider of next-generation financial payment processing solutions, today announced that it has partnered with EPS Financial to provide Drake Software customers a unique tax refund processing infrastructure and prepaid card platform.

Through the new collaborative offering, tax preparers using Drake Software and their customers will have access to the all-new E1 Visa Prepaid Card, on which consumers can receive their tax refund proceeds. The E1 Visa Prepaid Card is a convenient way to receive tax related refund proceeds, as the cards can be used immediately upon funding anywhere Visa is accepted. The E1 Visa Prepaid Card is also a convenient alternative to checks.

Tax preparers using Drake tax software now have access to EPS Financial's new e-Collect program, a unique offering that allows taxpayers to take advantage of electronic filing and direct deposit while having various disbursement options for their refund proceeds: direct deposited into their own bank account, via check printed by the tax preparer or loaded onto the E1 Visa Prepaid Card.  Additionally, taxpayers can choose to have their tax preparation fees withheld from their refund proceeds and paid directly to the tax preparer.

Consumers who elect to receive their tax refund on the E1 Visa Prepaid Card will receive their card at the time of tax preparation and then receive a text or email alert letting them know that the funds have been loaded to the card, relieving the need for a return trip to the tax preparer's office to pick up a check.  Customers activate their cards online or by calling a toll free number and, at that time, can sign up for alerts and request a personalized card.
