GCL-SI Appoints Jeffrey Barnett to Lead Its Americas Markets
SUZHOU, China, Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- GCL System Integration Technology Co., Ltd (GCL-SI) (SHE:002506), announced today that it has appointed Jeffrey Barnett as President of GCL-SI Americas. Based in the U.S., Mr. Barnett will lead the company's solar module and balance of system business in North and South America.
With over 15 years of global experience in the renewable energy industry, Mr. Barnett brings expertise across product sales, project development, technology investing, and manufacturing to GCL-SI. Mr. Barnett joins the company from Yingli Green Energy Americas, where he served as Managing Director and was responsible for the company's sales and operations within the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean. Previously, he served in leadership roles at numerous well-known energy companies, including Wirsol Solar, Exelon Corporation, Blue Square Energy, and AstroPower. Mr. Barnett holds an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
