GE Executive Joins Vuzix Board of Directors

ROCHESTER, N.Y., June 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of video eyewear and smart glasses products in the consumer, enterprise and entertainment markets, is pleased to announce that Paul Boris has joined its board of directors.

Paul was the dynamic force behind the Perfect Plant initiatives at SAP. As CIO of Advanced Manufacturing Strategy for GE, he focused on driving GE's innovative factory strategy to increase productivity and deliver asset and operations optimization and is currently Head of Manufacturing Industries for GE Digital. Paul's extensive experience in driving industry initiatives and as a senior contributor at several Fortune 100 companies makes him an ideal candidate to join the Vuzix board.
