Genesis Reports Increased February 2020 Sales

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Genesis Motor America today reported sales of 1,587 units in February 2020, a 4 percent increase compared with the prior year.

"In February, we again achieved a year-over-year sales increase and received more than 6,000 pre-orders for the all-new GV80," said Mark Del Rosso, President and Chief Executive Officer, Genesis Motor North America. "Perhaps more importantly, we had our brand – and first-ever SUV, GV80 – front-and-center during the Genesis Invitational PGA TOUR Golf Event at Riviera Country Club. Genesis Invitational
For the fourth consecutive year, Genesis partnered with the PGA TOUR, TGR Live and TGR Foundation to provide a premium experience for golf fans and guests at The Genesis Invitational, from February 10-16, at The Riviera Country Club.

The Genesis Invitational hosted 120 world-class PGA TOUR golfers, one of the strongest fields in recent years. The top five players in the Official World Golf Ranking – Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson – joined Tiger Woods in competition for a $9.3 million purse. The winner, Adam Scott, received a three-year PGA TOUR exemption and a winner's share of $1.674 million.
