NEW YORK, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- COMEDY CENTRAL presents a medley of non-stop comedians, sketches, and visualizations on "Mash Up," a World Television Premiere stand-up special hosted by comedian T.J. Miller premiering on Friday, March 11 at midnight ET/PT.  The special features stand-up appearances by Matt Braunger, Hannibal Buress, Kyle Kinane, and Kumail Nanjiani.

Filmed at L.A.'s Music Box Theater in April 2010, "Mash Up" gives viewers their stand-up fix and satisfies short attention-spanned viewers with clips and visualizations.  The special's unorthodox format provides jokester after quipster, sketch after video and is led by host T.J. Co-created and directed by Jordan Vogt Roberts, "Mash Up's" origin began in 2004 in Chicago with Braunger, Kinane, Miller, Nanjiani and other comedians pitching him ideas with the goal of making videos for a burgeoning online audience.  Vogt-Roberts proposed adding visualized elements to make the videos more dynamic, creating what the Chicago Tribune dubbed as an "inspired mix of stand-up and visual storytelling."  After the videos received millions of online views and multiple screenings at festivals, including HBO's Comedy Festival in Las Vegas, "Mash Up" evolved into this World Television Premiere special.

Along with capturing audience's attention as cameraman in the 2008 blockbuster "Cloverfield," Miller has built up his comedy credentials and has been included in both Variety's "10 Comics to Watch" and Entertainment Weekly's "Next Big Things in Comedy."  Miller stole scenes opposite of Jay Baruchel in last year's comedy "She's Out of My League," was seen opposite Russell Brand and Jonah Hill in "Get Him to the Greek," and voiced a character in the Oscar-nominated "How to Train Your Dragon." Most recently, Miller starred as 'Ranger Jones' in the live action/CG feature film "Yogi Bear" and was seen alongside Jack Black in "Gulliver's Travels." He will soon be seen opposite of Paul Rudd in the comedy "My Idiot Brother," which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival along with his short film "I'm Having a Difficult Time Killing My Parents."

Joining the stage with Miller are comedians Buress, Nanjiani, Kinane and Braunger, all past Variety "10 Comics to Watch."  Buress is currently a staff-writer for "30 Rock's" fifth season and has performed on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," "Lopez Tonight" and "The Late Show with David Letterman."  

Nanjiani, credits include appearances on "SNL," "The Colbert Report," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" and "The Late Show With David Letterman." Nanjiani is also a regular on TBS' "Franklin and Bash."  

Kinane, presently on COMEDY CENTRAL'S "The Hot List," has been on "Last Call with Carson Daly," "The Very Funny Show," "Live at Gotham" and "The World Stands Up" on BBC.

Braunger's debut album "Soak Up the Night" on COMEDY CENTRAL Records was selected to "iTunes REWIND Top 20 Albums of 2009."  Braunger has been seen on "Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien," "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson."
