New MRIS Subsidiary Provides Statistical Information Directly from the MLS

ROCKVILLE, Md., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- RealEstate Business Intelligence (RBI) announces the launch of its real estate data analytics website. Agents, brokers, appraisers and other real estate professionals can now receive the most reliable housing market data in the Mid-Atlantic region via — empowering them to make more educated decisions for their clients.

RBI provides an in-depth understanding of real estate activity at the regional, county and local levels in the Mid-Atlantic housing market that has not previously been available. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Metropolitan Regional Information Systems, Inc. (MRIS), RBI is the only company in the region that provides timely, online access to statistical information directly from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). This new data analytics company brings value to real estate industry professionals by providing intelligence derived from the nearly five terabytes of information accumulated in the MRIS database.

These include the almost 70 county-level and more than 1,300 ZIP code statistics reports that have previously been available on New MarketWatch videos for eight market regions in the Maryland, DC, Virginia, West Virginia and Pennsylvania also are available. Each two-minute video reviews significant statistics about the region for the previous month. These basic-level items are available to MRIS customers, real estate industry professionals and the general public.

Later this summer, RBI plans to launch advanced, interactive tools for real estate professionals and respond to demands for customized reports through RBI Custom Solutions. These services and much more will be available through tiered subscription agreements.
