Giant Interactive Acquires Leading Developer Jargon Technologies
NEW YORK, April 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Giant Interactive, a pioneer in innovative digital services, creative content and interactive media services, today announced the acquisition of Jargon Technologies, a leader in advanced technology for home video distribution, development and services capabilities for Blu-ray™, iOS and Android. Jargon has built a strong reputation as a topline provider of special projects coding, software tools, and trouble-shooting in advanced interactive media. Jeff Stabenau, President of Giant Interactive, made today's announcement.

All current Jargon Technologies employees will be retained as Giant Interactive employees, further augmenting Giant's existing mobile, web and interactive development resources. Jargon will continue to provide license and support for Indigo, a leading authoring system for Ultra HD Blu-ray™ independently.
