Gigamon Appoints New Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer

SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Gigamon Inc. ("Gigamon") the company leading the convergence of network and security operations to help organizations improve their security stance, today announced two additions to its executive team.  Dave Arkley is joining Gigamon as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Shane Buckley will be the company's new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Dave Arkley brings extensive global finance, software, and operational experience to the Gigamon team. Arkley has spent the last 11 of his over 20 year career as a CFO, most recently with International Decision Systems, and previously with Vertafore, Edifecs, Parallels and Itron. With experience leading the growth and transformation of cloud-based software and services enterprises, as well as acquisition and partnership programs, Arkley will play a key role in the Gigamon growth strategy.

Shane Buckley adds a deep background as a technology leader across the networking, security and infrastructure markets to the Gigamon team. Buckley is joining from Xirrus where he was CEO prior to their 2017 acquisition by Riverbed. Before joining Xirrus, Buckley served as a general manager and senior vice president at NETGEAR and held various executive leadership positions at Rohati Systems, Nevis Networks, Juniper Networks, Peribit and 3Com Corp. Buckley's exceptional 20-year track record driving operational and organizational success will help propel global business success for Gigamon.
