Gilbane Building Company Receives Two Irish Construction Industry Awards for Kerry Global Technology & Innovation Centre Project

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Aug. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Gilbane Building Company, a global leader in construction services, was recently awarded two Irish Construction Industry Awards for Commercial Project of the Year and Industrial Project of the Year for the Kerry Global Technology & Innovation Centre Project.

The Irish Construction Industry Awards recognize, inspire, and celebrate unique and innovative contractors, businesses, teams, consultants and projects that demonstrate excellence in the construction field. The Awards are designed to recognize a construction team who exhibits the highest standard of work, adherence to budget and client satisfaction in a healthy and safe working environment.

The new 282,0000 sf state-of-the-art facility Global Technology and Innovation Centre was designed to serve Kerry's global and regional EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) customers. The Centre encompasses executive offices, customer application suites, research and development labs, culinary facilities, sensory services and is dedicated to "customer production commercialization". The new Centre stands as a key focal point for Kerry's customer engagement activities by providing strategic customers with  access to Kerry's complete range and depth of scientific research, technologies, innovation and applications across food, beverage, and pharmaceutical markets.
