Sixth-generation Gilbane family member tapped to lead Gilbane Building's presence in New Jersey

Anderson III has been promoted to Business Leaderof the firm's New Jersey Office in Newark, New Jersey. In his new role, Anderson will focus on expanding the company's market portfolio and service offerings, fostering team development and growth, and delivering world-class facilities for clients and communities in the New Jersey area.
A seasoned construction leader, Anderson spent the last 10 years serving in Gilbane's New York City office and has an extensive background in healthcare, commercial, residential, and life sciences construction. His notable project experience includes 50 Hudson Yards, where he oversaw construction of the core and shell of a 2.9-million-SF, 58-story office building. Anderson also led Gilbane's NYCEDC NYC Health + Hospitals Metropolitan Hospital Resiliency Project, which included construction of a new permanent flood mitigation system and the renovation of the New York City/New York State Emergency Management Chempak Room.

In addition to his project work, Anderson has contributed to the firm's culture of excellence and safety by serving on the Gilbane NYC Safety Task Force and leading the Project Manager Peer Group. He is a former ACE Mentor with the ACE Mentor Program and has remained actively involved in community and charitable initiatives, particularly through the Metropolitan Hospital Center project.
