WYOMISSING, Pa., Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Glen-Gery Corporation, a premier brick manufacturer proudly introduces Driftwood as the 2027 Brick Color of the Year. Driftwood is a beautiful blend of warm taupes, soft grays and subtle beige undertones, which complements a wide range of exterior components and architectural styles.

"Driftwood was selected for its timeless appeal, natural beauty, and incredible versatility" said Denise Smith, Senior Marketing Manager for Glen-Gery. "With its warm, earthy tones and subtle color variations, Driftwood reflects the growing influence of biophilic design and the desire to create spaces that feel more connected to nature. Its balanced neutral palette pairs effortlessly with a wide range of materials, colors, and architectural styles, giving homeowners, architects, and designers the freedom to create spaces that are both beautiful and enduring."

Warm, earthy colors are shaping today's designs, bringing a sense of comfort and a connection to nature. Recent color forecasts highlight soft neutrals and warm khaki shades that make spaces feel welcoming and easy to live in. Driftwood's warm tone and natural texture fit beautifully with this direction, adding character to a building's exterior or an interior gathering space with a look that feels both fresh and familiar.

Part of the acclaimed Manor House Series, Driftwood takes its inspiration from nature and the beauty of earthy materials. Its natural texture and warm tone pair well with a variety of mortar joints and finishes, giving architects, builders, and homeowners plenty of ways to create their desired look. Driftwood and the other bricks in the Manor House Series are available in two sizes: modular (3-9/16" x 2-1/4" x 7-5/8") and oversize engineer modular (3-9/16" x 2-3/4" x 7-5/8").
