Launched in 1999 through a partnership between Charlotte Beyer, founder of the Institute for Private Investors (IPI) and The Wharton School of Business, the Private Wealth Management Program is regarded as the best of its kind. The program allows family members and their family office executives to increase their knowledge in key areas of wealth management, modern portfolio theory, asset allocation, hedge funds, risk assessment, private equity, performance measurement and manager evaluation, and wealth transfer through both theory-based learning and live case studies.
"The wealth education that family members receive is unparalleled," said Brien Biondi, President of IPI. "I am proud that IPI continues to play an integral role in this program."
Attendees meet at its University of Pennsylvania campus in the spring and its San Francisco campus in the summer.
