Global X Announces Availability of Model Portfolios through Envestnet

NEW YORK, April 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Global X Management Company LLC (Global X), the New York-based provider of exchange traded funds (ETFs), today announced that a suite of seven proprietary ETF model portfolios will become available to financial advisors through the Envestnet platform. Envestnet, Inc. (NYSE: ENV) is a leading provider of intelligent systems for wealth management and financial wellness. Envestnet's unified technology enhances advisor productivity and strengthens the wealth management process.

The portfolios, which allocate across numerous Global X and non-Global X ETFs, are designed to achieve either specific outcomes, like growth or income, or to align with certain risk-based investment approaches.

• Equity Thematic Disruptors (Growth)
• Thematic ETFs tend to transcend classic sector, industry and geographic classifications, resulting in exposures with low overlap and correlations with other growth-orientated strategies. The Global X Equity Thematic Disruptors portfolio provides a structured approach to selecting and weighting thematic ETFs that own stocks that Global X believes are disrupting traditional GICS sectors.
• Equity Income
• The Global X Equity Income portfolio provides an equity-based allocation designed to balance income needs with total return. In addition, the portfolio seeks to diversify across sectors, unlike many other income strategies.
• Core Series: Aggressive, Moderately Aggressive, Moderate, Moderately Conservative and Conservative
• Taking a fresh look at standard risk-based portfolio approaches, the Core Series includes Thematic and Factor-based investments alongside more broad equity and fixed income ETFs.¹ The five Core Series model portfolios offer clients an asset allocation designed for specific risk profiles. These model portfolios are tilted tactically to potentially benefit from shorter-term shifts across broad asset classes, while also maintaining exposures that Global X believes will outperform over the long run.
