Go Bananas to Reopen Friday Following Tragic Accident

NORRIDGE, Ill., April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The employees and owners of Go Bananas, located at 4516 N. Harlem Avenue in Norridge, extend our sincere condolences to the family of Jayson Dansby, who lost his life in a tragic accident at our facility on April 2, 2011. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Go Bananas has cooperated with State and Local Officials in the investigation of this accident. No public official has found any incident of human error or mechanical failure connected with this matter. All of Go Bananas' rides and attractions have been inspected by the State of Illinois and have been determined to be operating in accordance with the manufacturers' standards. The Village of Norridge and the Norwood Park Fire District have inspected our facility and our procedures and approved the reopening of Go Bananas to the public. Go Bananas will reopen to the public on Friday, April 8th at 12 Noon. We would like to thank our loyal patrons for their patience during this difficult time.
