CHICAGO, March 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Colorado Mountain Express, Vail Resorts' ground transportation company, is the GO Group's newest affiliate. The GO Group is a network of ground transportation companies that provides shuttles to and from more than 52 airports around the world. As GO's newest affiliate member, Colorado Mountain Express (CME) will broaden GO's reach further into the Rocky Mountains. CME provides transportation from Denver International Airport (DEN), Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) and Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) to the Vail Valley, Summit County, Aspen/Snowmass areas.

Founded in 1983, CME has grown to serve more than 330,000 travelers in Colorado each year and travels more than 8.5 million miles annually. The CME fleet includes 250 vehicles including shuttle vans, luxury four-wheel drive SUVs and 11-passenger Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans that provide door-to-door shuttle, group and privately chauffeured transportation throughout Colorado.

"Colorado Mountain Express will have a greater national presence through membership in the GO network," said CME's vice president & general manager, Robert Tschupp. "We're looking forward to gaining more national exposure and continuing to grow our shared ride, charter and private car airport services."

In the last year, CME has made enhancements to its fleet including adding Wi-Fi as a standard feature on all of its vehicles and adding the Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans to its fleet. CME offers convenient year-round schedules, with numerous daily departures to and from Denver International Airport and meeting all flights at Eagle County Regional Airport and Aspen/Pitkin County Airport.

"Our commitment to service, safety and dependability is what really sets CME apart from other ground transportation options," said Tschupp. "We continually invest in training our employees, and enhancing our vehicles and riding experience."

While the regional companies, including CME, remain independently owned and managed, they co-market under the GO branding umbrella. Passengers can make reservations to and from airports in both their departure and destination cities by visiting a joint website www.goairportshuttle.com, as well as by visiting members' reservations websites directly.
