Go 'Off the Grid' With Jesse Ventura Show on RT America

WASHINGTON, April 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- RT America launches "Off the Grid" on television. The current affairs commentary program hosted by former governor Jesse Ventura premieres today.

Governor Ventura steps into the ring with politicians, journalists and thought leaders for lively debates and in-depth investigations on his new weekly television show "Off the Grid".  Swapping his gubernatorial suit for tie-dyed T's, Ventura provides his unconventional and thought-provoking opinions on a wide range of topics.

Filming at an "undisclosed location," Ventura says he's "avoiding the all-seeing eyes of American drones." It's from there that the Navy veteran turned wrestler turned politician turned media personality sounds off on social injustices, lapses in the system, economic inequality and government surveillance. On his "WWJVD" – What-Would-Jesse-Ventura-Do – segment, the Governor provides answers to the questions posed by the viewers.

"Off the Grid" hit the airwaves on Friday, April 3. The weekly program will air Fridays at 6 pm EST on RT America, the exclusive worldwide broadcaster for the show.
