College graduates who have made regional connections while studying in the south may expect a better-than average outlook for immediate employment. Southern states in general are currently experiencing higher job growth rates than the national average, according to research published by global information company IHS. IHS predicts the highest rates in coming years will be in Texas, Florida and Virginia.
