Greenberg Traurig Represents Managers in Accelerated Book Building for New Alior Bank Shares

WARSAW, Poland, Dec. 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP advised Barclays Bank PLC, Dom Maklerski BZ WBK, Renaissance Capital and Societe Generale in connection with the offer of a new issue of 6.36m shares in Alior Bank S.A. The offer, announced and completed Dec. 5, 2013, was effected by way of accelerated book building among Polish and international institutional investors. The value of the offer amounts to PLN464.2m (approx. EUR110m).

The Greenberg Traurig team was led by Warsaw partners Federico Salinas and Paweł Piotrowski, with London partners Andrew Caunt and James Mountain advising on English law aspects of the transaction.

Greenberg Traurig advised the managers of the offer in all the aspects related to devising the structure of the deal and its implementation, which included the negotiations of agreements connected with the transaction and advice on regulatory matters.
