Greenvit Introduces its Pure Aronia extract at Supply Side West

New study endorses Aronvit® aronia extract's antioxidant potential and positive impact on metabolic health and CVD risk

Results of a recent pilot randomized human trial demonstrate the ingredient's positive impact on metabolic health. Not Just a pretty berry

ARONVIT® is sourced from special Nero-Eggert variety of aronia berries, developed by Piotr Eggert, a renowned specialist in aronia cultivation. Aronia science

ARONVIT®'s recent two-phase pilot randomized human trial¹, led by Patrycja Bloch, PhD, and published last April demonstrated its cardiovascular benefits after just six weeks of daily supplementation of 200 mg of ARONVIT®. Results showed significant reductions in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and homocysteine in subjects diagnosed with elevated blood pressure levels or cholesterol. Liver enzyme alanine aminotransferase (ALAT) levels also decreased significantly, indicating its positive impact on liver function.

Further lab analysis confirmed ARONVIT's anti-inflammatory potential, as indicated by reduced pro-inflammatory cytokines and adhesion molecules in human blood vessel lining and blood-derived immune cells. Additionally, the extract exhibited strong antioxidant activity, as evidenced by a 40% reduction in ROS and increased production of nitric oxide (NO) production in cells. NO is important for blood vessel function as it regulates their dilation and relaxation.
