"Hail A Honda" Rideshare Program Comes to Austin City Limits Music Festival Thanks to Honda and the Central Texas Honda Dealers

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Honda and the Central Texas Honda Dealers have joined forces with Ride Austin, Austin's non-profit rideshare company, to launch the "Hail A Honda" ride share service for the Austin City Limits Music Festival. Hail A Honda will provide attendees complimentary rides to the music festival over its two weekends (Sept. 30 – Oct. 2 and Oct. 7 – Oct. 9). The new ridesharing partnership helps mark Honda's now eight-year partnership with the ACL Festival.
Honda's relationship with ACL Fest will continue to include The Honda Stage, along with vehicle displays and activations for fans – including the ACL Festival Waterloo Records Honda Artist Signing Shack.
Fans headed to the Austin City Limits Music Festival can access their free rides to the festival from 11:00 am through 5:00 pm daily in Honda and ACL Fest wrapped 2016 CR-V sport utility vehicles via the Ride Austin App through the "Honda at ACL Festival" tab. Riders will also receive a free bandana and ACL Fest chilled water during their free ride which will allow a maximum of up to four passengers.

For 2016, The Honda Stage returns to ACL Fest featuring some of today's most popular artists including headliners LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer and Kygo along with other key artists such as Cage the Elephant, Miike Snow and Die Antwoord. Further, Honda and the Austin born and raised Waterloo Records are teaming up to provide a unique experience that integrates festival goers loves for music and automobiles. In addition to showcasing the all-new Civic Hatchback and CR-V, ACL Fest artists such as Cage the Elephant, Bob Moses, Atlas Genius, Young the Giant Wild Belle, Kacey Musgraves and others will be stopping by autograph albums purchased at the Waterloo Pop-Up Record Store in the "Honda Artist Signing Shack."
