PARIS, June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation's Kidde Aerospace & Defense subsidiary was recently recognized by Airbus as its "Best Performer" for 2010. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

The Airbus Supplier Quality Improvement Plan 2011 Executive Board selected Kidde Aerospace & Defense for its outstanding sustainable quality and delivery performance throughout 2010. The company was selected from a pool of more than 250 Airbus system suppliers and was honored at a recent Airbus Suppliers Meeting in Toulouse, France.
