Hampden Bank to Premiere New Statements by DST Output

Enhanced customer communications, innovative online document management through strategic alliance with Open Solutions Inc.®

HARTFORD, Conn., Sept. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hampden Bank, a community bank with locations across Western Massachusetts, will debut a new design for its deposit account statements on October 1, thanks to a new relationship with customer communications provider DST Output. The bank is the first client of Open Solutions Inc.® – the leading provider of collaborative enterprise technology to community-based financial institutions worldwide – to transition to DST Output since it announced a strategic alliance with Open Solutions in April.

Through the Open Solutions alliance, DST Output offers print and electronic document composition and delivery services for banking statements to Open Solutions' global client base of more than 3,500 clients. DST Output has created a series of flexible statement designs for the exclusive use of Open Solution clients. Participating institutions can now incorporate their own color branding and eliminate the use of pre-printed paper stock, in turn reducing their inventory expenses. They can also select different layout options to better meet the differing needs of commercial and retail account holders.

Hampden Bank has also elected to use DST Output's Campaign Manager platform to add personalized marketing, educational and compliance messages – which means it can now suppress stand-alone marketing and regulatory mailings, reducing total expenses. And because Campaign Manager is web-based, messages can be added to the statement without involving internal IT staff.
