Handelabra Studio Celebrates Presidents' Day with Uncle Slam Promotion

CLEVELAND, Feb. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- For mobile software company Handelabra Studio, there is no better way to commemorate Presidents' Day than with a gentlemanly game of presidential boxing. In Uncle Slam, gamers pit president against president and duke it out in the ring to prove they are the leader of leaders.

Beginning on Presidents' Day (Monday, Feb. 20) and extending until Monday, Feb. 27, Uncle Slam, which is traditionally $0.99, will be available on the App Store for free. Following the successful debut in December 2011 of the iPad-only version, Uncle Slam is now a Universal App, playable on any iOS 5-capable device including iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod touch (3rd generation and later).

In addition, Barack Obama and George W. Bush have recently been added to the character roster and can be purchased for $0.99 each or together in the Partisans Politics Pack for $1.99. Each downloadable president has a specific fighting style as well as a Presidential Power inspired by something significant to their presidency.

Handel and his team are already hard at work developing additional characters to be released soon, including John F. Kennedy, Warren G. Harding, Zachary Taylor, Gerald Ford and William H. Harrison. All will be able to be purchased for $0.99 each or in unique packs. Each character will come with his own home stage, original music and a full suite of unlockables.

The universal release of Uncle Slam offers exciting single-player action on all devices and the larger screen on iPad allows fun two-player bouts. Each president has a unique single-player campaign that they must complete to take on Uncle Slam and win the title for themselves. Completing the nine included campaigns will unlock Uncle Slam as a playable character.
