Andrew Hurley, Ph.D., will deliver a challenge to delegates at the upcoming Global Food & Beverage Packaging Summit, which takes place July 7-8, 2015, at the Intercontinental Chicago Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago. Dr. Hurley will ask those attending Tuesday's 11:45 a.m. interactive session to participate in group development of a next generation packaging design, taking advantage of millennial-inspired brainstorming tactics.
Hurley, an assistant professor at Clemson University, in the Department of Food, Nutrition, and Packaging Science, will also present a session at 4:30 p.m. that afternoon on Successfully Applying Eye-Tracking and Customer Biometrics in Packaging Design and Development. He will discuss the benefits of using biometrics in R&D and design decision-making for the new packaging.
These are just a couple of the sessions in two packed days of up-to-date packaging education that will be offered at the Summit, with speakers from Heineken, the JM Smucker's Company, Kraft Foods, Dow Chemical, AMCOR, and many others.
