DETROIT, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Hantz Farms, LLC, will participate in the Metropolitan Agriculture Innoversity's international workshop on urban agriculture with Michigan State University and other selected organizations from southeast Michigan. The workshop is on February 10, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Birmingham Conference Center, located at 31301 Evergreen, Beverly Hills, Mich.
The Metropolitan Agriculture Innoversity is an institution that explores innovation and integration in the food and agricultural systems that can contribute to sustainable development in urban settings around the world. The workshop focuses on what can be learned from both grassroots organizations as well as organizations in the private sector. Hantz Farms, LLC, will help define larger-scale urban agricultural ventures.
