Harris & Associates Hires Gary Wohl as Chief Financial Officer

CONCORD, Calif., Aug. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary Wohl has joined Harris & Associates, a Concord, Calif.-based professional services firm, as chief financial officer. Wohl will be responsible for the financial and administrative management of Harris and its projects throughout the western United States.

In his more than 20 years of financial and managerial leadership, Wohl has assisted companies with becoming more efficient and effective in addressing client needs through streamlined processes, timely interactions and enhanced client experiences. Before joining Harris, Wohl was the chief financial officer for DPR Construction, where he led the Finance and Accounting, Information Technology and Human Resources departments. He also developed and administered the shareholder equity incentive program and managed the corporate treasury.

In his role as CFO, Wohl will also oversee the Risk Management and Information Technology departments at Harris and will collaborate with managers throughout the firm. Wohl has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Business Administration from Binghamton University. He serves on the advisory board of Zeta Communities and is involved with several nonprofit organizations.
