HERNDON, Va., Dec. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris Healthcare's newest release of Novus Meds revolutionizes the way physicians reconcile medications. Physicians can now rapidly and safely reconcile even the most complex patient medications in the palm of their hand. The mobility feature is unique in the industry and designed for physicians on the go.

Novus Meds simplifies the providers' experience, while also enhancing patient safety through formal review of medications at all key transition points throughout a patient's hospitalization. When a physician reconciles existing medications or places new orders, the Novus Meds application provides robust screening using embedded Drug Knowledge Vendor to mitigate adverse medication events, even at the point of care.

Harris Healthcare and Hunterdon Medical Center partnered through all phases of the Novus Meds development. This renowned healthcare facility provided valuable input and feedback to the Harris Healthcare development team as the product was being designed, built and tested.  Today, Harris Healthcare and Hunterdon Healthcare proudly announce successful transition from beta testing to live implementation of Novus Meds.
