Harris Names David Mika Regional President

Banking Veteran to Lead Harris' Operations in Northwest Indiana

CHICAGO, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Harris today announced David Mika as its new Northwest Indiana Regional President. Mika's responsibilities include the management, development, and execution of retail banking strategies and services at 19 branches in Harris' Northwest Indiana footprint.

A 23-year veteran of the financial services industry, Mika joins Harris from J.P. Morgan Chase, where he most recently served as Regional Manager of National Development, responsible for the development of Chase's Retail Management Training program. Prior to that, Mika served as Northwest Indiana Market Manager, responsible for managing and growing the profitability of 72 branches with more than 500 employees.

Mika earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Illinois, a Master of Business Administration in finance from DePaul University, and an advanced degree in banking from the Prochnow Graduate School of Banking. Mika's community involvement includes serving as a board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County.
