WASHINGTON, Dec. 4, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Guidehouse, a leading provider of management consulting services, announced today the addition of Dr. Harry Greenspun as the firm's first Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Greenspun brings a wide breadth of both clinical and executive leadership experience to his new role at Guidehouse working with public sector and commercial clients with a focus on health care transformation.
Prior to joining Guidehouse, he served as the Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director of Korn Ferry Health, focusing on critical issues facing clients across the industry in the transformation of health care globally. Previously, he served as the Managing Director of the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions, providing research and guidance to leaders among providers, payers, life sciences, government agencies, medical device manufacturers, retailers and technology companies.
In previous roles he served as Chief Medical Officer for Dell Inc., after serving as Chief Medical Officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation. A former practicing cardiac anesthesiologist, Dr. Greenspun is a prominent author and speaker. He is recognized as a thought leader in the health care industry and has made recommendations to the executive branch and U.S. Congress on the pathway to transform health care through IT.

Dr. Greenspun received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University, his medical degree from the University of Maryland, and completed his residency and fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital where he served as chief resident. He is based in the Washington D.C. metro area.
