LOS ANGELES, Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Haven Tower Group, LLC ("Haven Tower"), the leading PR and communications agency for the wealth management industry, today announced that Ruth Papazian has been named the firm's non-executive Chairman. Ms. Papazian, who joins Haven Tower on the firm's five-year anniversary, is an industry veteran with over 30 years of leadership experience across a range of senior marketing and business development roles in wealth management.
In this newly created role, Ms. Papazian will work closely with Haven Tower's President and Managing Partner, Joseph Kuo, to develop and implement the firm's next five year growth plan, provide consultative marketing advice to a select group of Haven Tower clients and help to assemble and lead a new Board of Advisors for the firm, comprised of industry leaders who will collectively provide strategic guidance to Haven Tower in support of the firm's growth vision. Mr. Kuo will continue to lead Haven Tower in his current role, with day-to-day oversight of the firm and its client relationships.

Most recently, Ms. Papazian served as Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Business Development at HD Vest Financial Services, a leading independent broker-dealer supporting nearly 4,500 financial advisors across the country. While at HD Vest, Ms. Papazian was part of a senior leadership team that successfully grew and sold the firm in late 2015 from private equity and HD Vest management ownership to Blucora, Inc., a leading provider of technology-enabled financial solutions to consumers, small businesses and tax professionals.
Prior to that, Ms. Papazian served as Chief Marketing Officer at LPL Financial, the nation's largest independent broker-dealer based on revenues, where she built award-winning corporate and advisor-facing marketing programs and platforms, and led the marketing function of LPL Financial through the company's multi-billion dollar initial public offering on the NASDAQ Stock Market in November 2010.
