hCentive Implements Arkansas' Health Insurance Marketplace for Small Businesses

RESTON, Va., Nov. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- hCentive, the leader in public health insurance exchange solutions, has implemented Arkansas Small Business Health Options (SHOP), a state-based marketplace through which brokers and small businesses provide employees access to health insurance. Arkansas SHOP launched successfully under the My Arkansas Insurance brand on November 1. With the launch, Arkansas offers brokers across the state an end-to-end SHOP solution that includes online health insurance plan shopping and enrollment with integrated billing and payments to better serve their clients - for example, by creating online proposals for employers.  hCentive is also proud to open their SHOP Contact Center in Little Rock, which is staffed by trained local Arkansas SHOP representatives to provide the support brokers and small businesses need to successfully enroll employees.

hCentive was selected this year by the Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace (AHIM) Board of Directors as the prime vendor to implement the state's SHOP program with a transparent and accountable marketplace. hCentive's technology already powers the Federal SHOP marketplace as well as individual marketplaces for states including Massachusetts and Colorado.

• hCentive conducted regional training sessions with AHIM for over 100 agents and brokers, hosting meetings with small businesses across the state to discuss enrollment opportunities for employers and working closely with SHOP-certified agents and brokers.
