Head to Toe Fashion at Fashion Access
HONG KONG, March 9 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- FASHION ACCESS (http://www.fashionaccess.aplf.com ), the twice-a-year trade fair spotlighting 'head-to-toe' fashion, will open at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre March 29 - 31, focused on the autumn-winter 2010 buying season.

A brand new exhibitor area, Total Look, features companies that offer a complete collection of stylish ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and fashion accessories.
"The Total Look area is a very exciting development for FASHION ACCESS," says Perrine Ardouin, senior event manager of fair organisers APLF Ltd. "Each of these exhibitors embody the very core of the entire fair, which is to offer buyers a full range of fashion products from garments to accessories."
Bags and footwear remain the leading categories at FASHION ACCESS. Recent editions have recorded growth in other sectors including women's apparel, fashion accessories such as belts, scarves & gloves, travel wares and small leather goods.
The fair is upgrading its fashion mood by showcasing these product sectors in new Fashion Atmospheres, which includes "Carry Up!" (bags), "Step Up!" (footwear), "Gear Up!" (small leather goods and business items), "Style Up!" (garments) & "Move Up!" (travel wares).
Strong exhibitor demand has forced expansion into a new hall. Many returning exhibitors have booked larger stands this year, reflecting their confidence in an upbeat market. Fashion Avenue, the fair's branded and designer area, has already confirmed over 40% more space than the same time last year, and Sustainable World is returning by request of the industry.
Switching the spot light back to "Total Look": the area will be exclusive to a small number of design-savvy companies and brands. Its current list includes French brand ABirato, known for its witty and fresh take on fashion, and multi-brand company FlyNow, whose quality leather bags and stunning evening wear collections are sold at some of the leading retail chain worldwide including Harvey Nichols.
The upcoming FASHION ACCESS will be held concurrently with two other APLF- organised events in related fields: Materials, Manufacturing & Technology (MM&T) and Prime Source Form. MM&T is Asia's largest and most international exhibition for the raw materials and leather-related sectors. Prime Source Forum brings together top executives from the global apparel industry in a non-competitive environment, where participants can examine industry issues common to them all.
