Health Plus Management, LLC Announces New Executive Leadership Team
GARDEN CITY, N.Y., June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Plus Management, LLC, (HPM) a physician practice management company, is pleased to announce its new executive leadership team. Stuart Blumberg, CEO & Founder, has recruited these experienced executives to assist him in taking Health Plus Management, LLC to its next level of growth. "I am pleased to welcome my new executive leadership team to HPM," said Blumberg. "Our company is experiencing tremendous growth, so I determined it was time to bring in a senior leadership team who can assist me in building our expanding company infrastructure."
Eric Reiter joined HPM as the Chief Financial Officer. Eric is responsible for all financial oversight and business strategy for the Company. He brings nearly 20 years of experience that is composed of roles in corporate finance, private equity, and investment banking; and broad industry experience including health/fitness and technology. Prior to joining HPM he was most recently the CFO, of Hard Candy Fitness, Madonna's multi-national luxury fitness brand. Eric has an MBA from The Wharton School of Business in Strategic Management. Additionally, Eric graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology from the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor's of Science in "Economics in Finance" from the Wharton School, and a Bachelor's of Applied Science in Computer Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Kevin Whelan has been hired as the new Chief Operating Officer. Kevin is responsible for the overall operations of HPM and its physician practice management team. Prior to HPM, Kevin was the founder of Precision Digital Media Solutions, a company that provided solutions and services to optimize online channels and the monetization of its digital content. Kevin also served as Vice President of Global Professional Services for Business Engine Software, and spent several years with Accenture's strategy consulting practice. Kevin received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
Glenn Katz joined HPM as the Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for the information technology systems and support for HPM and the 18 physiatry offices we manage. Glenn has 27 years of experience delivering and managing IT solutions in the retail, energy and healthcare industries, and extensive experience leveraging technology and process improvement to support growth and operational effectiveness. Prior to joining HPM, Glenn served as the VP of Information Technology at ChemRx/Pharmerica, an institutional pharmacy which delivered solutions to streamline interfaces with Electronic Medical Record Systems and improve prescription fill rates using document management and bar coding technologies. Glenn also has experience using virtualization and cloud-based strategies to reduce data center costs and footprint. Glenn has also held senior leadership roles at Electronic Data Systems managing infrastructure and application support for clients, such as J.Crew, Bank of America, Stop & Shop and PSEG. Glenn earned his Bachelor's of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems at City University of New York.
Judy Willis has joined HPM as Vice President of Marketing. She is responsible for all strategic and tactical marketing, PR and digital marketing efforts for HPM. Judy also provides the marketing support needed for the 18 physical medicine and rehabilitation offices managed by HPM. Prior to joining the company, Judy was the Founder, President and CEO of Judy Willis Marketing, LLC, and Bright Impact, Inc., where she provided integrated strategic marketing communications and innovative business consulting to hundreds of small to Fortune 500 B2B and B2C companies. Prior to starting her two companies, Judy served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Merge Agency and held senior leadership positions at Education Corporation of America, Porter Novelli, Graphica Design & Communications, LexisNexis and Foote, Cone & Belding. Judy has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology/Pre-Med from Mount Holyoke College and her MBA in Marketing from the University of Connecticut. Judy joins us with over 25 years of experience in marketing and consulting.
Janie Spellman has joined HPM as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management. Janie is responsible for the Revenue Cycle Management team at HPM and providing RCM support for each of the 18 physical medicine & rehabilitation practices HPM manages. Janie has over 22 years of experience in revenue cycle management with a focus on inpatient, outpatient, facility practice, psychiatry and long term care. Previously, Janie was VP of Operations at Certus/Mirrus where she was responsible for starting up a new billing office on the East Coast. Most recently she was Vice President at IKS, specializing in global/domestic operations, and as a client liaison in regards to coding, payment posting, charge entry, and AR follow-up.
