Healthcare Expert Janine Gilchrist Joins Recovery Centers of America-Danvers as Director of Nursing

DANVERS, Mass., July 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Recovery Centers of America (RCA), a neighborhood-based addiction treatment provider delivering individualized, evidence-based care, announced today that Janine Gilchrist has joined the Danvers, Mass., facility as its director of nursing. In this role, Gilchrist will be responsible for directing, planning and coordinating the activities of all nursing personnel on staff to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality clinical care.

A healthcare industry veteran with more than 30 years of management experience, Gilchrist most recently served as the regional clinical and quality outcomes manager at Wingate Healthcare. While there, she also chaired the organization's healthcare policy committee. Before that, she served as director of nursing services at a number of Massachusetts rehabilitation and senior living facilities, including Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center, Harborside Healthcare Center, Peabody Glen Health Care Center and Jesmond Rehabilitation & Nursing Home. She began her healthcare career as a staff nurse at North Shore Medical Center Salem Hospital.

Gilchrist received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Salem State University and is a licensed registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She lives in Danvers, Mass.
