CHICAGO, Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations (Ogilvy PR), an integrated global communications firm, has appointed Heather Wilson executive vice president and director of the agency's Chicago Corporate Group.  Wilson joins Ogilvy PR on September 17 and will report to Managing Director Nathan Friedman.

With more than 18 years of corporate affairs experience, Wilson will apply her background in brand positioning, financial communication, litigation support, crisis management, government relations and media strategy to solving complex issues facing multinational corporations and crafting integrated campaigns that deliver business results. Focused on the Chicago market, she will be directly involved in shaping strategy and executing programs for clients as well as overseeing management of the corporate group and leading business development initiatives.

"Our corporate practice is a strong multi-dimensional team that works across multiple categories, verticals and geographies," noted Friedman. Before embarking on her agency career, she was a financial journalist, most recently with Dow Jones MarketWatch.

"I am excited to be joining such a talented group of communications professionals and look forward to working with the Corporate team to help build upon the office's incredible momentum and deepening its already strong expertise in corporate reputation and digital issues," said Wilson.
