Hedgeye Names Jonathan Casteleyn as Director of Financials Research
NEW HAVEN, Conn., May 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hedgeye Risk Management, a leading independent provider of real-time investment research and media firm, today announced that financial services veteran Jonathan Casteleyn will join the firm as Director of Financials Research working with Financials Sector head Josh Steiner.
Casteleyn has over 14 years of experience in financial markets and investments, in institutional equity research and trading as well as private wealth management. He has extensive experience covering the market structure and exchange industry, asset management and brokerage sectors.
Previously, Casteleyn was a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Susquehanna International Group where he was responsible for all macro industry analysis, micro stock picking, econometric modeling, and earnings model creation among these three financial services sub-groups. He was also a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Wachovia Capital Markets where he was ranked a Top-10 analyst within the exchange sector and his recommendations ranked 1st overall within the firm's research department in 2007. In addition, he helped manage $400 million of Private Client assets at Banc of America Securities, employing technical and fundamental equity analysis and a leveraged derivative trading strategy.

Casteleyn is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Santa Clara University.
