Heffernan Insurance Brokers' Janice Berthold Named YWCA 2016 Tribute to Women Honoree

MENLO PARK, Calif., March 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, announced today that Janice Berthold, Senior Vice President, has been named a Young Women's Club of America (YWCA) Silicon Valley 2016 Tribute to Women Honoree.

Berthold, a Workers' Compensation Coach and Risk Manager, began her career in 1977, starting her own successful insurance agency in a male-dominated industry. Since then, Berthold has been recognized by numerous publications, including being named Enterprising Woman of the Year in 2003 by The Business Journal. She has earned the esteemed and rare honor of Professional Workers Comp Advisor and holds many prestigious designations within the insurance industry. She is celebrated year after year at Heffernan as one of the company's top salespersons with unwavering energy and commitment to her clients. Berthold also partakes in the company's Women of Influence group, encouraging and empowering young women to be confident and forge successful career paths, and actively participates in numerous philanthropic efforts.
