Heidrick & Struggles Adds to Growing Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice
Samantha Carey joins as Partner in New York and Denver
NEW YORK, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq:HSII), the premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide, further strengthens its Healthcare and Life Sciences expertise with the addition of Samantha Carey as Partner. She will be co-located in the firm's New York and Denver offices.
Carey joins Heidrick & Struggles from another global executive search firm where she had been a senior member of the Global Healthcare and Life Science practice and Private Equity practice. Her experience with Private Equity practice at this firm focused on recruiting investment professionals, operating partners and portfolio company executives. Prior to this, she was also a partner at another leading international executive search firm specializing in healthcare.
Previously, Carey was a partner with a boutique search firm where she co-founded the firm's Life Sciences Practice. She has also been named to BusinessWeek's list of the "World's Most Influential Headhunters." Carey started her career in strategy consulting where she worked for a boutique firm serving the healthcare industry.
