Local 332 Members Demand Employer Stop Slow-Walking Negotiations and Bargain Seriously
GRAND BLANC, Mich., Sept. 10, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Striking nurses and case workers at Henry Ford Genesys, represented by Teamsters Local 332, will rally on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m., to demand safe and improved working conditions.
On Monday, Sept. 1, more than 750 nurses and case workers were forced to the picket line after their employer refused to offer a contract that addressed unsafe nurse-to-patient ratios. Since then, the company has slow-walked negotiations and continued to make unacceptable and insulting offers.
The group last sat down with the company today, Sept. 10, where they were once again met with Henry Ford Genesys' refusal to bargain seriously.
