PHOENIX, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Hensel Phelps has officially opened the Diverge Innovation Center, a dedicated hub designed to advance construction technology and foster cross-industry collaboration. Located in Phoenix, the Innovation Center welcomed industry clients, trade partners, academia, tech solution partners and Hensel Phelps employees on September 24 with live demonstrations and interactive tours showcasing the future of the Innovation Center.
The Diverge Innovation Center highlights Hensel Phelps' commitment to safety, efficiency and sustainability through the adoption of emerging technologies. Visitors experienced innovative safety solutions, 3D printing, robotics, wearables and digital platforms actively transforming project delivery.

During the grand opening celebration, guests stepped into an active jobsite environment to experience cutting-edge technologies firsthand. Highlights included large-scale 3D printing by Alquist3D, humanoid robotics from UCR and next-generation safety innovations from Hardhat Robotics. The center showcases Diverge's structured innovation strategy—sourcing opportunities for innovation from our everyday innovators, partnering with our robust network of solution providers, collaborating with academic partners, piloting solutions in real-world projects and scaling successful innovations across operations.
The event featured special guest speakers, including Victoria Thomas, owner of Kellymoss Motorsports, and professional racer Loni Unser, who shared perspectives on performance, resilience and innovation in motorsports. Renowned for his unique insights on AI and innovation, Tom Goodwin, founder of All We Have Is Now (AWHIN, Inc.) and author of Digital Darwinism, inspired attendees with a forward-looking take on how disruptive technologies are reshaping industries.
